AOL x Title Guardian by AURA

A responsive landing page for a new offering from AOL subscriptions, designed while working with both AOL & AURA. AOL subscription partner offerings are always fun because they allow a divergence from the brand guidelines to combine two.

While the industry standard has become mobile first design for web and digital products, a fun quirk of working on some of these AOL subscription landing pages is that they are still designed desktop first in some cases. Because of AOL’s dominant 55+ demographic, most of the engagement on these product offerings is from desktop web, which of course influences how we approach an ask like this.

With landing pages like this that are designed to be easily digestible, having simple structure, no more than the necessary text and clearly conveying the product are crucial to maximizing user engagement. Perhaps my favorite part of this process is the design of icons, encapsulating entire features of a product into a 30x30px illustration.
